IF: Heavy (or...'is kittys luck in?')

Thought it might be nice to continue the 'kitty & bird' theme from my entry for IFs 'Leap' topic and to have a go at applying a bit of watercolour in this sketch... small steps, I hope to get more confident in this medium.

thank you for the lovely comment on my blog.

I am behind in reading blogs this week.

Once again, you inspire me with your simplistic but conceptual sketches.

Wonderful concept of the birds and the waiting cat.....slurp.

That's a very patient kitty considering he could probably reach his paw up there. Or perhaps he is just humored by silly birds!

Keep up the good work!

What a great painting, Bee! I love the concept, that one bird upside down is just adorable!!! And the soft washes complement your drawing really well.

Me again, Bee. I was looking through your blog and realized that my illustration for this week's "heavy" theme must have been inspired by your adorable illustration of rabbits and carrots for "Garden" from last week! It obviously left an impression on me. :-)

Hi Bee! This is lovely, I love the 'texture' of your line, the slight fuzziness makes it so soft! Really nice!
